As part of its sponsorship strategy, INTRALOT supports scientific conferences and forums that attract renowned experts and foster the exchange of views on international relations, economic growth and prosperity, while cultivating a creative environment for business contacts and commercial transactions. To this end, INTRALOT is an active member of bilateral chambers of commerce and leading international lottery associations.

The company’s most significant initiative in this area was sponsoring the World Economic Forum held in Istanbul, Turkey in November 2006. Entitled Connecting Regions-Creating New Opportunities, the forum attracted over 400 leading authorities from around the world. INTRALOT’s involvement was highly productive, as it provided an opportunity for company executives to meet with key figures of the Turkish business community and discuss issues that affect the company’s local operations.

Moreover, INTRALOT sponsored the Summit of Serbia & Montenegro for the 6th consecutive year and the 9th Greek-Turkish Business Conference, as well as two conferences organized by the Economist in Greece. The company also sponsored a conference entitled The Hour of the Greek Economy, organized by the Greek-American Chamber of Commerce.

All the above mentioned events were attended by leading politicians, diplomats and business professionals, fostering cooperation and the exchange of ideas between diverse social and economic groups .
