Social Welfare

As an active corporate citizen, in 2006 INTRALOT aided many sensitive and special interest groups through grants and public welfare sponsorships, promoting the concept of social responsibility and the notion that business enterprises can and should contribute towards safeguarding and advancing the value of social cohesion.
Representative examples of the company’s many public welfare initiatives included a donation to the Make-a-Wish Foundation of Greece, in lieu of Christmas gifts to associates and customers, a donation to the Lifeline Humanitarian Organization in Serbia and financial aid to the “Friends of Social Pediatrics – Open Arms” Association, among others.
On the occasion of the International Day against Drug Abuse, INTRALOT handed out to its employees who are parents the children’s book titled The Garden with the 11 Cats, which discusses drug use prevention. Moreover, the company supported the KETHEA Therapy Center for Dependent Individuals.
The Eurofootball subsidiary in Bulgaria, committed to its firm policy of providing aid to underprivileged social groups, is the main supporter of 99 of the country’s orphanages and institutions for homeless children. Eurofootball has also adopted the principles of Corporate Social Responsibility in all internal procedures and everyday practices.
