Tiberiu Grigorescu President, Business Development
Tiberiu Grigorescu currently appointed as President, Business Development of INTRALOT Latin America, while has been the General Manager of Intralot de Chile S.A. since October 2001. Prior to that, Tiberiu had 11- year experience with Interphase C.A. (Caracas, Venezuela), as President of the company. Before he worked as Operations Director of Datacraft C.A., as Chief of Data Communications Division in NCR Summa Sistemas – Cisneros Group (Caracas Venezuela), and Research Engineer and Chief of Non Destructive Test Laboratory in the Research Institute for Semiconductors (Bucharest, Rumania).
Mr. Grigorescu played a major role in the establishment of Intralot de Chile S.A. after being awarded a Public International Bid by Polla Chilena de Beneficencia S.A. for the Betting Collection and Games Administration. Tiberiu’s background and related industry experience includes:
- The implementation and Operation of Polla Chilena de Beneficencia On-Line System for Lottery Transactions, implementation and Operation of the Virtual Lottery Agent (alternate channels), implementation and Operation of the Fix Odds Betting, implementation and Operation of Bill Payment and Financial Transactions for Servipag S.A., Development of the Latin American Lottery Market - Lottery License in Peru awarded by Beneficencia de Jaen, Contract for Football Pari-mutuel Games in Colombia for ETESA
- As President of Interphase, Important subcontractor for CANTV, the incumbent telephone company in Venezuela, he was responsible for the Telecommunications System Integration and Consultancy, implementation and Operation of the first VSAT network in Latin America for Telecomunicaciones Bantel C.A., implementation and Services for the Earth Satellite networks for major TV Stations
- As Operations Director of Datacraft C.A., he was responsible for the implementation and Service Support for Data Communication infrastructure of the majors US airlines (Pan Am, American, etc.) in Latin America, Services and Support for Data Communication infrastructure of SITA in Venezuela and Caribbean
Tiberiu attended the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, Rumania, where he received a M.S. degree in Electronic Engineering, major Solid State Electronics.
