INTRALOT SUPPORTS SURVIVORS

OF EARTHQUAKE IN HAITI

As an active corporate citizen, INTRALOT has responded to the urgent need to support the people of Haiti, after the devastating earthquake that resulted in widespread damage, especially in the heavily populated capital of Port-au-Prince.

INTRALOT, the leading gaming company in the Caribbean, has joined the international community’s endeavor in assisting the survivors of the 7.0-magnitude earthquake that killed tens of thousands of people and crippled the infrastructure of the island nation. INTRALOT provided financial assistance to the non-profit Organization, Doctors of the World, which sent to Haiti on January 19th, medicines and medical staff, including doctors, surgeons and nurses, in order to evaluate the situation and provide aid.

Mr. Nikos Nikolakopoulos, Managing Director of INTRALOT Latin America, stated: “After the disastrous earthquake in Haiti, INTRALOT was deeply concerned about the emergency situation in the country and immediately decided to contribute to international relief efforts.
