The distinguished athletes participating every year in TSIKLITIRIA and their very good performances have contributed to the fact that the Athens’s GRAND PRIX is now placed in the 7th position of the athletics international list. This year’s meeting took place on June 11th and among the participants were stars such as Maurice Green, Javier Sotomayor, Colin Jackson, Kim Batten, Konstantinos Kenteris.

The race of the 100m sponsored by INTRALOT was fascinating as the competition for the first place between Maurice Green and Ato Boldon was exciting and offered a unique show to the crowd. Maurice Green was the winner with 9.91seconds. It's worth mentioning that the world record in 100 m. of 9.79 by Maurice Green was achieved in Tsiklitiria 2000 supported by the same sponsor.
