 Mr. Dimitri Karagounis has joined INTRALOT and has been appointed as CEO of INTRALOT de Peru. Mr. Karagounis is an international executive with an extensive senior management/ board of director’s background.

 Mr Karagounis has the appropriate experience and qualities to reinforce our international management team, said Mr Constantinos Antonopoulos, CEO of INTRALOT SA. His extensive experience in management in multinational companies, as well as his successful involvement from leading positions in various projects globally, give us confidence for a very productive cooperation and added value to our presence in Peru.

Before joining INTRALOT, Mr. Karagounis held the CEO position of Atento Peru, a subsidiary of the world leading telecommunications Telefonica Group. He has worked for multinational companies like Societe Generale de Surveillance, Bureau Veritas and Socotec and has successfully managed and developed subsidiaries acting as Chairman/CEO or Regional Director in Europe, USA and the Caribbean, Latin America, Asia and Africa.

 In addition, he has led projects in different business sectors (telecommunications, finance, transportation, insurance etc) and negotiated and implemented contracts with governments (Ministries, Government Entities) and International Organizations (World Bank, IMF, European Union, IDB, United Nations).

 He has studied in Greece, Switzerland and the United States, obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Political Sciences and Administration and an MBA from Webster University. He has also attended CEO’s executive programs at Kellogg Graduate School of Management and The Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania).
