INTRALOT AMONG THE SUPPORTERS OF "IAAF SUPER GRAND PRIX TSIKLITIRIA 2003"

INTRALOT was among the supporters of the annual Super Grand Prix “Tsiklitiria” for 4th continual year. The international meeting took place in the central Greek city Trikala on the 24th of June. “Tsiklitiria” is a highly successful track and field meeting, organized by Panellinios A.C. Every year many distinguished athletes from all over the world participate and their very good performances and records have established “Tsiklitiria” at the highest positions of the athletics international list.

INTRALOT sponsored the event of men’s 100 meters for the 4th consecutive year. The winner was Deji Aliu of Nigeria, with 10.00 seconds. Among the participants were Great Britain’s Dwain Chambers and Darren Campbell.

The race of men’s 100 meters has always been on the spotlight of “Tsiklitiria” meeting, as many great athletes were among the participants such as Ato Bolton and Tim Montgomery. The highlight of this IAAF meeting was Maurice Greene, who achieved the world record of 9.79 in 1999.
