The devastating consequences of the floods experienced a lot of Chileans last week due to the heavy storms occurred in the area of Santiago. Thousands of people lost their properties and the government as well as many Chilean social welfare societies offered financial help in order to relieve and assist them. INTRALOT de Chile was among the first companies of the private sector which took action by making a donation to the Foundation of Women' s Smile. The donation was delivered by the First Lady of Chile, Mrs. Luisa Duran de Lagos who is the president of the Foundation of Women' s Smile.

It's worth mentioning that Mrs. Luisa de Lagos is also the president of other welfare societies which support people in need and help them improve the quality of their lives in Chile. Among them are: Corporacion Danza Chile, Corporacion Matucana 100, Comite Nacional Del Adulto Mayor, Fundacion De La Familia, Fundacion De Orquestas Juveniles e Infantiles De Chile, Fundacion Integra, Fundacion Prodemu, and Fundacion Tiempos Nuevos.
