INTRALOT de Peru, a member of INTRALOT Group signed a contract with the Football Federation of Peru (ADFP) regarding the operation of fixed odds betting games. The contract’s duration is 5 years with a renewal option for 2 years. INTRALOT de Peru is the market leader of the lottery games in Peru, having an on-line sales network of 1.700 points-of-sale in the country and offering a wide range of games (numerical and instant).

 

The operation of the fixed odds betting games is expected to commence within 2005. Football is the most popular sport in the country and the launch of the betting games is expected to capture a significant market share, since it will be the first sports lottery game to be offered in the Peruvian market.

 

It is worth noting that Peru is the second country in Latin America (after Chile), where fixed odds betting games will be introduced by the national lottery.
