INTRALOT WINS ANOTHER CONTRACT IN THE USA FOR THE INSTANT GAMING SERVICES IN OHIO

INTRALOT USA, following a competitive procurement, was selected by the Ohio Department of Administrative Services as the apparent successful vendor to develop, refine, and implement instant ticket and related cooperative instant ticket support services in the state. The contract, which begins July 1, 2009, has an initial term of two years and includes options to extend for three additional two-year periods. It is expected to generate approximately $5.5 million per year.

This new agreement is in addition to INTRALOT’S June 2008 gaming systems contact with the Ohio Lottery.  Services include; instant ticket data processing, warehousing, and overall management of the instant ticket and gaming supply inventory, as well as the management and staffing of a state-of-the-art, telephone-based, instant ticket order and distribution system.

The Ohio Lottery, which began operation in 1974, is now the tenth largest U.S. Lottery with total sales of $2.3 billion in FY08 and instant sales of nearly $1.4 billion. Since 1974, the Lottery has provided more than $16 billion to public education.
