INTRALOT’S iGEM GAMING SYSTEM CERTIFIED IN PERU FIRST TO RECEIVE LICENSE IN THE COUNTRY

INTRALOT has become the first company in Peru to receive a license to use its iGEM Gaming System by the Directorate General of Casino Games and Slot Machines of the Ministry of Tourism. The Peruvian version of INTRALOT’s iGEM gaming system was the first to be certified by GLI for meeting all legal and regulatory requirements in Peru in the field of Controlling, Monitoring and Management of Gaming Machines and was thus granted the license.

INTRALOT’s iGEM system and related services will be offered exclusively by Gaming Solutions International SAC, a member of the INTRALOT Group, which will provide the gaming operators in Peru not only the opportunity to comply with the new legal requirements governing the gaming market in Peru but also enable them to use the state-of-the-art services and facilities of iGEM to manage more effectively their gaming operations.

The iGEM system, developed by INTRALOT, is a next generation integrated solution for large-scale gaming networks. The full suite of the system has a number of modules enabling the support of both legacy slot machines and state–of-the-art server-based gaming, including game downloads, central determinant and Central RNG. iGEM is also a multiprotocol system with full GSA protocol capabilities, providing operators the opportunity to deploy the latest VLTs technology.

Standard features of the system include central control, monitoring, reporting, accounting, auditing and secure management of slot machine operations. In addition, iGEM offers a suite of value added services, including flexible real-time graphical tools, dynamic reporting, linked progressive jackpots, cashless gaming, business intelligence and more.

Mr. Fernando Artieda, General Manager of Gaming Solutions International, stated: “We are really satisfied to be the first company in Peru to receive the license for offering our pioneering online electronic monitoring system iGEM. It ratifies our commitment and our ability to offer quality services on a massive scale. Our international know-how and expertise guarantees that our new activity in Peru will be just as successful.”

In Peru, iGEM is already used in 70 gaming halls nationwide. Internationally, INTRALOT’s iGEM is the official monitoring system of the New Zealand Government, monitoring and controling more than 20,000 slot machines installed in 1,600 different locations.
