INTRALOT AWARDED FOR ITS RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
INTRALOT was awarded by the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry, during a solemn ceremony, held on July 7th at the Athens Concert Hall. The company received the “Research, Innovations, and Technological Development Award”, which is attributed to companies that emphasize on research and development considering it as the crucial part of their business process. The President of the Hellenic Republic, Mr. Karolos Papoulias, attended the ceremony, while the Greek Prime Minister, Mr. Konstantinos Karamanlis, extended a speech. The award was presented to Mr. Constantinos Antonopoulos, CEO of INTRALOT, by the Minister of Development, Mr. Christos Folias.
INTRALOT was distinguished among other participants for the innovative characteristics ?f its services and products that have led the company to the top of its sector. INTRALOT’s philosophy entails the investment of significant capitals on the research and development. The company invests an average of 12% of its technology sales back to research and development. Moreover, INTRALOT is a technologically autonomous company, which develops, designs and produces its products in-house at its wholly owned premises.
