INTRALOT’ s subsidiary in Italy, INTRALOT Italia, participates in a fund-raising initiative organized by the AAMS (Amministrazione Autonoma Dei Monopoli de Stato), in order to support the people that were affected by the devastating earthquake in the Abruzzo region in Italy. The initiative aims to leverage the established infrastructure of AAMS and betting concessionaries so as to facilitate the player’s donations. Players are donating money in the same process that they register a bet. However there are no winnings, since the entire amount is donated.

INTRALOT Italia will support this effort through its extended sales network and its website www.intralot.it. The total revenues of the game will be shared among various Institutions, such as “The Red Cross” and “The Civil Protection”, to increase the valuable assistance they are already providing in Abruzzo.

Moreover, INTRALOT Italia’s employees have contributed to the relief effort for the victims in Abruzzo by collecting food and clothing that will cover some of the basic needs of their fellow citizens.

Despite its relatively short presence in Italy, INTRALOT Italia has participated in various similar fundraising campaigns, such as the “Telethon”, a large-scale charitable event for patients with genetic disorders.
