INTRALOT OBTAINS ASSURANCE REPORT ON THE INTEGRITY OF OPERATIONS AT THE NETHERLANDS
INTRALOT has achieved an assurance report on the control design and effectiveness of the operations and systems it provides to the two Dutch Lotteries, Staatsloterij and De Lotto, according to the International Standard on Assurance Engagements (ISAE) 3402, ‘Assurance Reports on Controls at a Service Organisation’, issued by the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board.
Mr. Joost den Heijer, Chief Operating Officer of Staatsloterij, stated: “Staatsloterij is very content with the achievements of INTRALOT BV with respect to its level of information security. This is very important for running reliable lotteries, not only for INTRALOT, but also for Staatsloterij.”
Commenting on the results, Dr. Christos K. The ISAE 3402 audits at INTRALOT BV operation were continuous, covered the whole year (2012), based on a unique lottery-specific risk model, and extensive to the smallest detail targeting at providing the largest possible added value to its customers. The ISAE 3402 audits were conducted by major international auditing firms.
