INTRALOT announces the successful transition of the National Lottery of Ireland to its cutting-edge central system and terminals. Premier Lotteries Ireland (PLI) is officially the new operator of the National Lottery for the next 20 years having won a competitive tender process with a bid of €405 million. INTRALOT Ireland, a subsidiary of the INTRALOT Group has been selected as the technology partner of PLI, in order to provide set up, maintenance and support of new lottery software platforms and terminals.

Under the new Licence, PLI had until the 30th June 2015 to complete the transition; however the ambitious transition programme began in March this year. INTRALOT and Camelot Global supported and assisted PLI to deliver the transition programme successfully and months ahead of schedule.

The transition to INTRALOT’s system was completed on Sunday November 30th morning and the Lottery’s Points of Sales were connected to the new central system. INTRALOT has provided its state-of-the-art Photon terminals, which will facilitate the growth of sales through the lottery’s extensive retail network. The new interactive lottery portal has also been successfully launched and is now available at Players will have increased options to play online, on their mobiles and tablets.
