INTRALOT supported the 4th International Conference, which was organized by the Foundation for Mediterranean Cooperation that took place at the end of April 2002, in Athens. Distinguished speakers such as Ministers, Parliament Members, Ambassadors, etc approached the theme of the conference, Citizens - Sustainable Development - Environment, from the countries of Greece, Chile, Romania, Czech, Croatia, Georgia, Jordan, Morocco, Ukraine, FYROM, Russian Federation, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Yugoslavia, Brazil, Estonia, Libya, Turkey, Lebanon, Lithuania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Palestine, Tunisia, Uzbekistan, Italy, Malta, Azerbaijan, Latvia, USA, France and Oman.

Chile was the guest of honor country of the conference, and to which the first night was dedicated. INTRALOT sponsored the Gastronomy Night with the accompaniment of music from Chile, which was organized by the Embassy of Chile. The conference participants had the chance to taste the marvelous Chilean cuisine and experience the hearings of the Chilean folk music by a popular Chilean group.

The goal of the annual Conference is to make well known the importance of international cooperation and common action of the countries in the Mediterranean, the Southeastern Europe and the Black Sea in the new order of economical, cultural and political fields internationally. As for this, people and countries of the region, -which do have coexistence through history and the progress they have succeeded is owed to the communication they have built-, are those who can play a leading role in the demands of the contemporary needs of the days we are living in.

INTRALOT, as an integral part of the social fabric, considers its economic growth inseparably linked to its active involvement -through grants and sponsorships- in wide spectrum of social events and initiatives that aim to advance athletic and cultural status, underlining the social contribution of lottery games
